Sketch of a plant, a leaf and a flower. The shadow on the plant, top sketch, has the light coming in from the right meaning that the shadows will be darker on the left side, whilst the right side is bright.
I have picked up the leaf whilst on my way back from college. It has ripped/ridged edges which adds detail to the overall look of the leaf. The flower was found in my front garden. It had a nice colour scheme of purple and darker purple. In order to draw the flower I have taken a photo of it and then sketching it afterwards. Here is a sketch of an apple, drawn using a grid method. The light is coming down from the left side of the apple, casting a shadow to towards the back bottom of the apple.

Here I have tried to fit multiple sketches onto one page. On the left is a part of a kettle whilst on the right there's a seagull. The kettle's light source is coming from the right side, casting a shadow on the left side of it. However, the seagull's light source is located on the left, which means that the shadow is casted on the right side instead of the left.

Here is a simplified sketch of a wild wolf. I have drawn the outlies of some parts with ridged edges, so that they represent the places where the wolf's fur would of stood out. I did it like this because I reckon that it would make the sketch itself look very unorganized if I tried to draw all the single hairs.
